The Spiral Body: Integrating Hands, Hips, and Rotation Half-Day Outdoor Workshop

  • Woodland Park (South entrance) 750 North 50th Street Seattle, WA, 98103 United States (map)

Movement doesn’t travel in straight lines—it it turns, shifts, and redirects.

In this session, we look at how the body organizes motion through rotation and how pressure moves through the system to set up timing and release.

You’ll explore how the hands, spine, hips, and feet work together—not in isolation—to create flow, rhythm, and control.

This isn’t about fixing movement or adding a new pattern. It’s about noticing what’s already happening and learning how to use it with more precision.

We’ll cover:

  • How rotation helps organize movement from the inside out

  • What it feels like to load, hold, and release pressure through the body

  • Using the hands and hips to shape rhythm and direction

  • Recognizing where movement stalls—and how to get it moving again

This is a practical, movement-based session. We’ll test and feel ideas in real time so you can see what changes and what doesn’t. Expect to move, notice, and adjust.

You’ll leave with tools you can apply right away—in your own body or with others.

Perfect for coaches, clinicians, and anyone who wants to move better and understand how the body talks to itself.
